Susan and Brian's Engagement

My buddy Charlotte's buddy Susan (are you keeping up?) recently got engaged and I was asked to do a cupcake tower and cutting cake for their engagement party.

I did a mixture of vanilla and chocolate cupcakes, and did four different looks to create some interest in the cupcake display. Half were iced with vanilla buttercream and the other half were iced with embossed fondant. Those iced with buttercream were also topped with silver dusted fondant pearls.

The cutting cake was a dark chocolate mud cake and was icing in vanilla buttercream.
