This recipe makes a delicious caramel slice. It reminds me of when I was little - I felt so grown up helping Mum in the kitchen.
Ingredients:
1/2 tin condensed milk (yes, this means you can eat the other half!)
125g butter
1 tbls golden syrup
1 pkt Morning Coffee biscuits
100g melted chocolate
Method:
Line a slice tin with the biscuits. Melt condensed milk, golden syrup and butter together in a saucepan. Crush the remaining biscuits and add to mixture. Spread mixture over the layer of biscuits and ice with melted chocolate. For an alternative that isn't as rich, ice with chocolate frosting.
Refrigerate until set and cut into slices to serve.
