My friend Michelle asked me for a last minute baby shower cake, with the only stipulation being that it be pink and have a 'tiara' theme.

I was running through a few ideas in my head on how to construct a tiara. I've done a crown before, but as this was a baby shower I wanted it a little more petite. While Chris and I were in Melbourne after a day of attending specialist appointments (I'm on the mend now, don't worry!) we stumbled across a small homewares store on Elizabeth St. I happened to see a tiara cookie cutter and snapped it up in readiness for my cake.

This cake was vanilla bean with raspberry buttercream, which was then covered in pink and white fondant.
Congratulations Megan on the birth of your baby girl!
