Sweet treats in a hurry

Posted by kel @ sweet treats at 4:52 PM
Yesterday my housemate and I decided to have a BBQ. With only a couple of hours to get the house ready and get some food together, I had limited time to come up with a quick and easy sweet treat for our guests.
These delicious treats took me about 10 minutes to make, if that. Simple and quick, these are a cinch to whip up.

What you'll need:

1 packet Arnotts Ginger Nut biscuits
1 can Nestle Caramel Top N Fill
50g chocolate

Preheat oven to 180 celsius/160 fan forced. Grab a couple of mini muffin tins and lay biscuits over holes. When oven is heated, place prepared muffin tins in oven for about three minutes until biscuits are softened. Remove from oven and, working quickly, gently press the biscuits down with the back of a spoon to form a little curved shell.
Spoon caramel into prepared biscuits and drizzle with melted chocolate. Pop in the fridge for 15 minutes to set, and voila! An easy, delicious treat to share.

Enjoy!

I used to make biscuits similar to these with my grandma..

We would use gingersnaps instead of ginger nut, and then fill them with top and fill, stewed apples and then topped with cream..

AMAZING
