My daughter loved them too and actually made us sing "Happy Birthday" to her as she thought it was her birthday today. Would be linking to your post as I couldnt take any pictures today, they were gone before I could get my camera out ;)Samyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01229875606280099253noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9076488761310531454.post-59000819441874380352009-07-27T20:01:48.425+10:002009-07-27T20:01:48.425+10:00Sandra - the vanilla bean cupcakes recipe is on th...Sandra - the vanilla bean cupcakes recipe is on the main page on the right hand side under 'make it' :)

Bel - the blue icing is fondant. If you're not too keen on the taste of fondant you could probably use royal icing - that would give a nicer, smoother finish than buttercream. I wouldn't try and pipe a circle of it and then transfer it though. I would bake a more shallow cupcake (either by using less mixture or by dropping the oven temp a bit) and then 'flood' the top with royal. Hope that makes some sort of sense, lol!

Cupquakes - thanks! The couple came over tonight to taste them and they gave them the thumbs up :)kel @ sweet treatshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11128796057875320772noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9076488761310531454.post-7724797323432568102009-07-27T13:11:32.998+10:002009-07-27T13:11:32.998+10:00These cuppies are so cute! These cuppies are so cute!Cupquakeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12220889191541259440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9076488761310531454.post-68141505112575033692009-07-27T08:21:08.215+10:002009-07-27T08:21:08.215+10:00Hi Kel,

Is the blue covering on the cupcake fondant or a stiff buttercream? I am doing cuppys for my sister's baby shower and am not too keen on the taste of fondan even though it is pretty. Just wondering if it is possible to do a buttercream circle or not really...

thanks!Belhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15792609113939874219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9076488761310531454.post-80188448918715668962009-07-27T00:09:05.741+10:002009-07-27T00:09:05.741+10:00hey kel,
